OVERVIEW

I was contacted by Stephanie Swart to create design style frames for two episodes of TED’s The Way We Work, an video series that explores workplace culture.

For Season 1’s episode on 3 psychological tricks to help you save money, Stephanie provided me with 25 black and white rough sketches and a color palette for the series. I turned each sketch into a vector illustration that was ready for animation.

TIMELINE

Oct - Nov 2018

For the episode on 7 common questions about workplace romance, Stephanie presented me with 9 black and white sketches. I refined the artwork by fleshing out the character designs and environments in each drawing. Then I worked on the color design for each frame, applying the supplied color palette in a considered and thoughtful manner that complemented the content of the video.
